It’s been a whole since I last cooked and since I slept really badly last night, around 4 am I got up and made cupcakes an muffis and cookies
But this time I wanted something different
This cake requires
Ginger tea ( any variation will do)
Half a cup of milk
A cup of boiling water
Vanilla bean (vanilla extract or essence will do- add like 3 table spoons)
2 cups of sugar
And of course about 2 and a half cups of flour
how to put it together
Oven on to 175 c… Like 350 f.
Boil some water and measure a cup of water and put two tea bags in. Let it steep for 20 minutes.
Get your butter and let it sit for a while until its soft. Add it also to your sugar mix, whisk and add an egg between mixing. Once everything is added you can slowly combine it with the flour mix. Making sure there is no lumps. I have an aversion to using a lot of electronic mixers on things I can do by hand doesn’t mean that you can’t use your electronic mixers
