So This Is Christmas

So this is Christmas
It’s the 26ths of December, Boxing Day, they Sydney to Hobart. My best friend Don and I have found ourselves in brisbane.

A four day road trip to reach Brisbane intime to be at Woodford folk festival by the 26th.

On the way here from Sydney our adventure started leaving from palm beach.

Loading up the van, Trent, with an esky, a bag of ice (which only finished melting on Christmas day), $150 worth of food (mainly canned), a tent, a bed, pillows and doonas… Am I forgetting something…
Oh right four different cookers. paranoid one of them would break, my favorite is the gas stove top.
And we were off!! Myall lakes Here we come!

Our first night out of Sydney and the beautiful driver Donna decided to kick back aussie style with a beer and a smoke.
Half way through the night it poured…and when I say poured I mean it was a mini monsoon! The water was ankle deep when I got up at three am to wind the widows up… Turns out I wasn’t fast enough( the seats were wet the whole next day). It was I think one of my favorite nights!

The next morning we were off… After we had our cup of tea of course… and I saw a dingo!!!
We took the five minute car ferry across the water that was fun only $4 for the van.

The next day we aimed to stay at crescent head… Mate it was packed. After taking a dip, a shower and a few steak sandwitches it was time for a to move on. WAY TO FULL AND BUSY!
We ended up that night at nambucca heads. THIS PLACE WAS THE BOMB
